Description

Early magazine ads for Hamilton Beach Vibrators, which were sold under the Try New Life name. In 1912, Hamilton Beach made the first vibrator designed for home use without a doctor. The founder of Standard Electric Works, maker of the earlier Albert vibrator, had become one of the founders of Hamilton Beach. Nine years later they would design the first drink mixer, created to make malted milks which had become a health fad. These images have been digitally cleaned.
